Fortunately, the Spider by Eco Wood Art is only made of wood. The assembled mechanical spider model has a size of 24 x 35 cm and a height of 10 cm. Thanks to a wind-up motor that works with rubber bands, the eight legs set in motion and she runs away like a real spider as if by itself. If you want, you can give the spider model an even more lifelike look by painting it with wood paint.
Definitely not a model for people who are afraid of giant spiders!

The assembly requires a bit of handy skill, as the sometimes filigree components have to be joined together with controlled force from time to time. If the procedure is too careless or rough, individual parts can be irreparably damaged. EWA - Eco Wood Art designs unusual and creative construction kits with loving attention to detail and produces them itself. The environmentally friendly mechanical models, decorative puzzles and toys made from renewable birch wood are made of plywood panels. The respective panels are created using the laser cut process and some are decorated. The individual parts can be easily separated from the plywood panels and put together without the use of adhesives. The mechanical functions are realized with rubber bands (e.g. winding motors) or with gear wheels and bring them to life with movements. If you want, you can even paint the objects with wood paint and make them even more individual.
