Building and controlling the six models we've designed, or bringing your own ideas to life - the Pivot, Motor and Twister modules bring movement to your creations and more than 70 colourful Cubie building bricks offer endless combination possibilities.
The Powerbrain controls the robot's movements: It can be taught by moving it in recording mode as it should, connecting it to the smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth and controlling it via app or programming it with the Tinkerbots Blockly App
Interactive modules bring ideas to life
The Powerbrain, a red cube with a microcontroller, transmits energy and data to the attached modules. The motor module drives the robot, the pivot joint module gives the robot the freedom of movement it needs. With the Twister module, the robot can rotate around its own axis
The modules can be put together in any order, colourful cubies can be added or the robots can be supplemented with further Tinkerbots sets as well as LEGO® or other suitable building bricks
Control your Robot with Tinkerbots World App
Download the Tinkerbots World App for iOS/Android, turn on the Powerbrain and connect your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth: The devices now become the control centre of the robot. In creative mode, you can assign a controller to each module or select a robot from our pre-designed models and control it remotely!
Learn programming with Tinkerbots Blockly
The robots can also be programmed with the visual programming editor Tinkerbots Blockly. Basic programming concepts can be taught and offer a good start into the world of programming. The software runs on Windows and MacOS computers. The mobile version for Android and iOS devices will also be available in autumn
