Whether it's a family celebration, game night or vacation, THE PRETENDER is the ideal game to have fun wherever you are. With a short preparation time and variable playing time, it can be adapted to any situation, whether a short round in between or the whole evening long.
Gameplay
1. All players receive a card with the secret group word (e.g. fitness trainer)
2. But the pretender card is empty. He only knows the category (e.g. professions).
3. Once you know the secret word, your goal is to find out who in the group doesn't know it. Use mini gestures to express a word - but not in a way that the pretender will guess! Try not to be too obvious - and not too subtle.
4. And if you don't know the secret word? Oh-oh – you are the pretender! Now you have to do everything you can to adapt and not get caught. At the end of the round, suspicions are raised. Will you escape?
