The Light my Bricks 2.0 Flux Touch Plate Pair transfers power between two removable LEGO® model levels without requiring them to remain permanently connected by a cable.
Flux Touch Plates were specifically developed by Light my Bricks for removable sections such as the floors of Modular Buildings or other movable and detachable model features. The two-piece contact pair transfers power from one level to the next when the two Touch Plate elements are brought together.
This allows illuminated floors or other model sections to be removed at any time without having to disconnect connecting Belts first. When the two levels are placed back together, the Touch Plates meet and re-establish the electrical connection between the two sections. This significantly increases the flexibility and playability of the model.
The set consists of a Tile Piece and its corresponding Plate Piece. Both elements feature a 30 cm cable and attach directly to compatible LEGO® studs. When the two elements are brought together, the contact surfaces transfer power from one model level to the next.
Developed from over 10 years of experience
Light my Bricks has been developing lighting solutions for LEGO® sets for over 10 years. The experience gained during this time has been incorporated directly into the development of the new LMB 2.0 system. The components were developed by Light my Bricks to make them even smaller, thinner, more robust and easier to integrate into LEGO® models. The innovative design of the Light my Bricks 2.0 system has been recognised with a Good Design Award.

More flexibility for removable model levels
Flux Touch Plates allow illuminated floors or other model sections to be removed without having to disconnect a continuous cable connection between the levels. As soon as the two Touch Plates meet again, the power connection is automatically re-established through the contact surfaces.
With DIY components from Light my Bricks, individual areas, details or complete LEGO® models can be illuminated according to your own ideas. The Flux Touch Plate Pair combines reliable power transfer with increased flexibility and playability and is particularly suitable for Modular Buildings and other models with regularly removable levels or sections.
Light My Bricks is the market and technology leader in high-quality lighting systems for LEGO® models. The brand was created by genuine LEGO fans with one clear goal: lighting should not look like an add-on, but should integrate cleanly, discreetly and seamlessly into the model.
With its modern LMB 2.0 system, Light My Bricks sets new standards. Ultra-thin flexible cables, precise connectors, high-quality LEDs and specially developed components allow for an exceptionally professional installation. The cables disappear almost invisibly between the bricks, while the lights are positioned exactly where they enhance the model with atmospheric and authentic illumination.
Each lighting kit is developed specifically for the corresponding LEGO® model. Light My Bricks takes inspiration from the details of the original – whether it is based on a movie, architecture, a vehicle or a real-world reference. The result is a lighting concept designed not simply to make a model brighter, but to specifically enhance its atmosphere, depth and overall visual impact.
One of the key differences compared with many simpler lighting systems is the quality of the integration. While many other providers continue to use conventional wires and relatively basic installation solutions, Light My Bricks is designed to provide the cleanest, most refined and build-friendly experience possible. The detailed step-by-step instructions closely resemble the style of official LEGO® building instructions. This means that many kits can be installed either while building the model or added afterwards.
Light My Bricks therefore stands for far more than LED lighting alone. The brand offers a sophisticated premium system for discerning LEGO fans who do not want to alter their model, but present it at its very best – with technology that remains as invisible as possible and lighting that impressively highlights the character of the set.
