The Light my Bricks 2.0 Tether 1x6 is a compact mounting plate that reverses the stud direction, allowing compatible LMB 2.0 lighting components to be securely and discreetly mounted to the underside of LEGO® plates and bricks.
The Tether 1x6 was developed by Light my Bricks specifically to provide greater flexibility when integrating lighting components into LEGO® models. By reversing the stud direction, compatible components can be mounted not only on top of LEGO® elements but also underneath them. This creates additional mounting possibilities while allowing the lighting hardware to remain neatly and discreetly integrated into the model.
With its 1x6 stud pattern and dimensions of 48 × 8 × 4.4 mm, the Tether 1x6 provides a stable mounting surface for appropriately sized LMB 2.0 components. This makes it particularly suitable for buildings, vehicles, larger MOCs and other constructions where lighting components need to be mounted securely while remaining as discreet as possible.
The Tether 1x6 is ideally matched to the Light my Bricks 2.0 Dock 6 and Meteor Lights. It allows these components to be mounted, for example, to the underside of compatible LEGO® plates and positioned out of direct sight. This enables targeted illumination and clean integration of power distribution while keeping the lighting components themselves discreetly concealed within the construction.
Developed from over 10 years of experience
Light my Bricks has been developing lighting solutions for LEGO® sets for over 10 years. The experience gained during this time has been incorporated directly into the development of the new LMB 2.0 system. The components were developed by Light my Bricks to make them even smaller, thinner, more robust and easier to integrate into LEGO® models. The innovative design of the Light my Bricks 2.0 system has been recognised with a Good Design Award.

Light My Bricks is the market and technology leader in high-quality lighting systems for LEGO® models. The brand was created by genuine LEGO fans with one clear goal: lighting should not look like an add-on, but should integrate cleanly, discreetly and seamlessly into the model.
With its modern LMB 2.0 system, Light My Bricks sets new standards. Ultra-thin flexible cables, precise connectors, high-quality LEDs and specially developed components allow for an exceptionally professional installation. The cables disappear almost invisibly between the bricks, while the lights are positioned exactly where they enhance the model with atmospheric and authentic illumination.
Each lighting kit is developed specifically for the corresponding LEGO® model. Light My Bricks takes inspiration from the details of the original – whether it is based on a movie, architecture, a vehicle or a real-world reference. The result is a lighting concept designed not simply to make a model brighter, but to specifically enhance its atmosphere, depth and overall visual impact.
One of the key differences compared with many simpler lighting systems is the quality of the integration. While many other providers continue to use conventional wires and relatively basic installation solutions, Light My Bricks is designed to provide the cleanest, most refined and build-friendly experience possible. The detailed step-by-step instructions closely resemble the style of official LEGO® building instructions. This means that many kits can be installed either while building the model or added afterwards.
Light My Bricks therefore stands for far more than LED lighting alone. The brand offers a sophisticated premium system for discerning LEGO fans who do not want to alter their model, but present it at its very best – with technology that remains as invisible as possible and lighting that impressively highlights the character of the set.
