Sandpictures is like «painting by numbers with sand and without numbers»
Children's sand pictures from KiSaBi are great fun with handicrafts and have educational value. They promote creativity, train fine motor skills, awaken new sensory stimuli and stimulate the imagination.
The pet edition home package A5 contains the following content:

The «artist sand» is specially produced for KiSaBi in Germany and is certified. It is harmless to health - even if it is accidentally swallowed or gets in the eye.
How do KiSaBi sand pictures work?
KiSaBi sand pictures consist of a cardboard box with an adhesive surface in DIN A4 or, for smaller sets, DIN A5 format, on which a motif has been machine-scratched. First you carefully peel off the foil from the scored cardboard with the foil, then you sprinkle the stripped areas with the colored sand of your choice, then you repeat the procedure for the other areas, and your own sand picture is ready. The creation of a sand picture takes no more than 30 minutes.
KiSaBi deliberately does not specify which color should be used at which point. The ten sand colors that come with the sets are matched to the respective pictures, but above all it is about stimulating the child's imagination, promoting creativity, awakening new sensory stimuli and deepening the understanding of colors. Should the flamingo turn green instead of pink in the end, there is no break in the leg but artistic freedom.
The sand used has an extra fine grain. This means that it adheres better to the adhesive and cannot be rubbed off again. This fact is also important for worried parents who fear their home will turn into a brightly colored sandpit. If sand is actually spilled, that's not a problem, because the material does not stain and can be sucked in without any problems.
